Opportunity classification

Two tracks, one framework

Identify the track that best describes your opportunity before completing the application.

Every DOX opportunity is classified as either Venture Financing or Project Financing. The distinction shapes how an opportunity is staged and assessed — the qualification framework itself doesn't change.

Venture Financing

Operating businesses raising capital into their own growth: equity, debt, SAFEs, convertibles, anchor positions. Staged Pre-Seed/Seed → Growth → Late-Stage/Pre-Institutional, based on revenue, prior capital, and traction — not raise size.

Project Financing

Defined, time-bound undertakings raising capital into a specific asset: infrastructure, real estate, energy. Staged Pre-Development → Development/Construction → Operational/Anchor, based on land, permitting, and contract status — not raise size.
